SINKING CHAIR
2017

A red Kopitiam chair and Tat Seng slippers, cut at a calculated angle, gives the illusion that they have sunken into the ground. As familiar objects, so ubiquitous as to go unnoticed, the dismembered plastic sculpture emphasises their invisibility and ability to fade into the background.
