DESCENDING ELEVATOR

Replicated elevator hall fixtures have been transposed onto a pillar of the HDB void deck with an electronic display of an animated down arrow. Suggestive of a descending ‘elevator’, its failure to arrive places the viewer in a constant anticipation and prompts for a reconsideration on the time spent waiting to rush in our day-to-day life.
